Going Green with Grove Collaborative

this post is sponsored by Grove Collaborative, all opinions expressed are my own.

I’ve recently talked a little about my interest in “going green” with more natural skin care products and was introduced to Grove Collaborative a few months back. Grove is an online service that delivers natural household products right to your door, which is the perfect way to make that green switch! when trying to educate myself on the safest options for my home I could spend an hour standing in the aisle of the store flipping over the bottles of various products searching through the ingredients list and claims.. time I do not have with four kids in tow!

what is Grove Collaborative?

in a nutshell, Grove sells top-rated, natural-based toiletries, skincare, cleaning, baby, and other household supplies. they also sell a few supplements–like vitamins for both adults and kids. while not all products in their inventory are 100% toxin-free, many of them are, and they are more natural than most conventional brands– so I have some confidence in the items that I’m using to clean my home and use around my young children.. including a newborn before we know it!

among my favorite items I’ve received are the Grove branded products. Grove boasts that they make products free of synthetic fragrances + harmful chemicals.. they are also fully transparent, disclosing all ingredients, which isn’t always a practice that popular brands follow.  I made mention of a few of those items on my list below, including the coconut skin superfood, wool dryer balls + essential oil set, and the dish brushes!  I’ve been shopping with Grove Collaborative for a couple months now and have come to love a handful of items, making repeat purchases of several! check out a handful of my mama, baby, and household favorites below!

Acure :: Micellar Water Wipes | removes makeup and the smell is great! gentle enough for sensitive skin and use on my girls when we wake early in the morning for school.

Earth Mama :: Organic Nipple Butter  | I actually received this as a gift after I had Brady and it worked miracles for those first couple weeks after he was born. when I saw that Grove carried this line I got myself some in anticipation for baby boy’s arrival!

Grove Collaborative Brand :: Nourishing Coconut Skin Superfood |  I get asked all the time about the products I use for preventing stretch marks, and while there is no true product for stretch mark prevention, I have used raw coconut oil on my belly in each pregnancy! I apply it directly after a shower!

Thayer’s Witch Hazel Toner | my FAVorite toner. this toner is alcohol free, so it doesn’t dry my skin out!

YES To :: Coconut Energizing Coffee 2-in-1 Scrub & Cleanser Stick | I have never heard of this product before seeing it on the discovery section of Grove. I have tried other Yes, To products and decided this one might be a gentle choice for exfoliating the dry skin that tends to hang out on the bridge of my nose and on my chin. after one use I noticed a real difference in my skin- its gentle enough to use everyday!

Earth Mama :: Diaper Balm and Baby Lotion  | I’ve used this on Brady since he was an infant and I love the way it smells! this diaper balm is also an excellent choice for diaper rash protection- I plan to keep this on my repeat order list for when baby brother arrives!

Hello :: Apple Toddler Training Toothpaste | Brady has a mouthful of teeth! we brush every day and use this training toothpaste from hello. he loves to brush his teeth and this toothpaste does the trick with a yummy flavor, too!

Burt’s Bees :: Nourishing Baby Oil | I use this after bath and for bum protection! it absorbs really quickly and doesn’t sit on top of the skin like typical oil at all.

Zarbee’s Naturals :: Children’s Sleep Melatonin Supplement | with all the change happening in the girls’ normal schedule and routine this has been a life saver in getting them to settle down a little sooner for an earlier bed time since they have such an early wake up (6:15am everyday!)  we don’t give this every night but it is so helpful for guaranteeing a restful night’s sleep when we really need it.

Babyganics :: Sunscreen Stick SPF 50 | I ordered this stick multiple times this summer! the easiest way to apply sunscreen to my kids’ faces! Jordan also used it on his tattoos for sun protection, too.

Method Cleaners :: All Purpose, Steel for Real, Daily Shower | hands down my favorite power house of cleaners. Method is a familiar brand to me, and while I’m not usually brand loyal, I appreciate that I can find these items with others I buy in the Grove inventory without having to make 800 stops while running my errands. I use the All Purpose for everything! on my granite countertops, to wipe down the kitchen table, cleaning off the stove after dinner.. and the smell is AMAZING.  Steel for Real is so easy to use on my refrigerator and oven fronts for all the little hand prints that make their way onto those things during the day. last but not least, the newest to my collection, is the Daily Shower Cleaner. I spray this after a shower and you don’t even have to squeegee it away.. you want to talk about CLEAN glass and leaving your bathroom smelling like a spa.

GROVE Brand :: Wool Dryer Balls + Essential Oil Set  | Grove has their own line of products and I have fallen in love with everything I have tried, including these wool dryer balls. a few drops of the orange scent (they have peppermint, lemon, and lavender, too!) to your dryer balls and toss them in to bring out the most yummy smelling clothing.

GROVE Brand Dish Brush + Replacement Heads  | easy for cleaning dishes! I’ve been using a dish brush for years. you can get a little bit longer use out of the replacement heads by tossing them in the top rack of your dishwasher!

Meyer’s Pumpkin Dish + Hand Soap | of course, the pumpkin dish soap has my heart because I am SO ready for the fall seasons and all the delicious scents that come with it! Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Hand Soap contains a special recipe of aloe vera gel, olive oil and a unique blend of essential oils that don’t leave my hands feeling over-dry.I’m so excited to be partnering with Grove to offer a free product package (with a $20 purchase) for NEW customers using my special link HERE!

I am an online shopper. if I know I can get it online, thats where I go first. Grove has become a one stop shop for my favorite home cleaning products as well as beauty and baby care items (they do not carry food items). after placing my order the items are really quick to ship and arrive on my doorstep within just a couple days! I currently have the VIP membership and they offer free shipping, no matter how big my box is.

  1. Katy Noel says:

Ok I love this deal! These are all the products I want to get in store but the prices look a little less on this website? Or maybe I just haven’t looked closely at the prices at Target or HEB…I like it!

  2. Rikki says:

I love your focus on these wonderful products! You rock Amber!

  3. Laci says:

  4. Kayla says:

I used your link… That is a great deal!!! Thanks!

  5. Mary says:

Love, love, love all the Grove products you mention!!! Until you get to Meyers. Unfortunately, Meyers cleaning products are far from being “safe” and “clean.” They are the epitome of “Green Washing” with products that are laiden with chemicals hiding most especially in thier synthetic fragrances. It makes me sad, because this type of marketing fools people into making a good choice, when there are much better options out there.
